Family and friends

The rainbow has came out of the rain,
This fake smile seems so real.
Laughing like I used to,
Murdering hands begin to heal.

You look at me like I'm a somebody,
This shadow seems to fade.
I remember all my friends,
And the new ones I have made.

The cheeky grin I once wore,
Is now back as bright as ever.
This happiness seems to true,
But there is a catch however.

There are a few people who made this possible,
Making me who I am.
To all the haters out there today,
I really don't give a damn.
I don't care what you think,
Judge me all the way.
Because now it doesn't hurt me,
No not today.

Tomorrow will still shine,
Since this smile has appeared.
All the nasty things I once thought,
Now forgotten and now cleared.

Cigarettes in the trash,
Don't need them any-more.
I'm happy and smiling,
And this I am sure.

Maybe this is just a phase,
Just happy for a while.
Well we'll just see what happens,
But for now I'll just smile.

Happiness doesn't last forever,
Your moments come and go.
Old in your rocking chair,
Rocking back and foe.
This is where I'd like to be,
Happily knitting in my chair.
No matter where my family is,
In my heart they'll always be there.

I'd just like to say thank-you,
To everyone today.
Cheering me up when I was down,
And asking if I was okay.

No more pretending,
I'm okay thanks to you.
I'd be so lost,
If you didn't know what to do.

This is just a message,
To all those sad people out there.
People do make you smile,
Your friends do care.
They care about your feelings,
They care all the time.
Just let them help you,
And tomorrow you'll be fine.
