Hello, are you there?

Not me, I'm not here!
Who are you?
I was here first!
Why are you here?!?

I don't even know where here is!
How can I know why I'm here?

Well, here is my mind
and you're an intruder.
I don't know you,
who are you?

I don't know anymore.
I had thought that I was
me.
But if I'm here in your mind,
then am I you?

I don't know; don't ask me.
This has never happened before!
Let's start simple,
are you a he or a she?

I don't know!
I'm you.
What are you?

That's not an answer!
You'll just copy what I say!
I won't tell!

But...But I'm lost and I need help.
I think I was someone else,
but now I think I'm you...

Is that possible?
Now you're me?

Who ARE you?

Well, I'm me. That's who.
I guess that you're me too.

I'm you too?

Yes.
I'm you, and you're me
and I think that I'm a she,
but I might be a he,
so you might be a he or she,
and we are they.
I am you am me am we am they?

"Who are we?"

My head hurt from the title...lol

but, I am glad I read this poem, this was awesome and deep. You are probably a person deep beyond your years huh?
This was a very cool and thought provoking poem.

Well try being the one to create the title! Just kidding. Thank you for reading. I like to think that I know more than I should for my age, but don't we all. Thank you for the compliments! =^.^=

Okay my first thoughts on this were either this is about Schizophrenia or transgender (gender confusion, whatever you want to call it.)
This was rather clever in my opinion. Good job!

How old are you? Just out of curiousity, if I may ask.

I'm sixteen years old. Did you ask because of your earlier comment?

There's nothing wrong with arguing with yourself. It's when you argue with yourself and lose that it's weird.

I just realized something about this poem. I wrote it right after discussing an article on identity in my Philosophy class... I hadn't even realized that I was emulating questions from the article, but I guess I kind of was... Strange...

Nothing is more painful than realizing he meant everything to you, but you meant nothing to him. (Unknown)
