This pain you see,
it wasn't meant to be,
not for you, not for me.

Your life was sacred,
for how long did you fake it?

Fake the smile,
Fake the laugh.

The tears, the fears,
they were real.

What did it feel like,
as your life slipped away,
as you took that last breath,
as you faded with the day?

Was there no where to run?
But to a Gun?
You not only pulled the trigger on your life,
You pulled the trigger on your strife.

You were so close to the end,
you couldn't see that you'd win.

Did you think of your family,
what they'd all say?
What about your brother,
he's all alone today.

How selfish you were,
could you not see through the hurt.

With tears in our eyes,
will let you go,
with the Eagles and the Falcons,
With the Bees and the Butterflies.

Fly away young boy,
You are now free,
Go live with God,
and watch over us,
forever and always,
will be thinking of thee.

I like this a lot. I had started to read through it quickly but the way everything was worded made me slow down and take it all in.
