You need to listen.
Please-
just stop and think.
I know...
I hope...
that no one could ever
try to be that-
rude, that-
disrespectful.
You need to stop and listen.
Please-
just hear what you are saying.
Because I know...
I hope...
that you would never try to be that-
cruel that-
hateful.
Please-
realize that your words...
your insults-
listen when I say they matter;
they hurt.
Listening to you:
I would rather,
much rather,
stick my hand in a blender.
Because at least then
I could see the-
blood the-
reason for the pain.
Then people would-
notice would-
help.
But your words,
they don't leave blood...
or gore.
They just simply...
tear,
shred,
mangle...
but in a place where nobody sees.
In a place where nobody cares.
You need to listen.
Because your words are draining me slowly-
ever so slowly-
of blood...
of life.
You need to listen.
Stop and hear yourself.
Because...
you-
you are slowly-
ever so slowly-
letting me bleed to death.
You need to listen.
Because you are killing me.

A murder worse than killing someone. Excellent substance well penned with real power and emphasis. Powerful, raw and emotive. Beautiful.
