Are you the paroxysm that merges sperm and ovum?
Are you the cut of an umbilical cord?

Are you the last stop of laughter?
Are you the onset of frowns?

Are you the limit of all my senses?
Are you the harbinger of eternal pleasure?

Are you the end of all reality?
Are you the beginning of an unknown?

Are you the light at the end of the tunnel?
Are you the darkness of the tunnel itself?

Are you the giving up of life?
Are you the embrace of oblivion?

Are you the end of my life’s meaning?
Are you the beginning of my dreams?

Are you the absence of everything?
Are you the presence of nothing?

Are you the moment
my soul moves to unknown realms?
Are you the infinity
that embraces light and dark?

Are you the change of guard
at the gates of my mind?
Or are you merely the moment
my body ceases to be?

Are you the end of all reality?

I very much enjoyed your poetic questioning, dear scorpio eyes shut!
We all have our own beliefs, but no doubt the mystery will be solved only at the moment when we shall experience transition.

Death does not mean the end of our existence, we just move on into another level of existence, in our spiritual essence, the soul. And I believe "death" allows us to enter what is REAL AND PERMANENT.
