        Wild-moon Rising

Amid a twilight-forest dream
settle your mind in perfect stillness
   beyond all desire,
(as the path to vanity vanishes)
remember only to forget all worries
in the face of an enormous wild-moon
   rising,
and the gentle grip of a sublime,
luminous, ever-creative cosmos
of infinitely startling diversity.

I love how you write, always leaving the mind open for more....

"Amid a twilight-forest dream
settle your mind in perfect stillness"

~ Oh, the serenity...

And, yes. "beyond all desire,
(as the path to vanity vanishes)"

"remember only to forget all worries
in the face of an enormous wild-moon
   rising,"

~ The worries are now slipping away...

"and the gentle grip of a sublime,
luminous, ever-creative cosmos
of infinitely startling diversity."

Thank you, Poet Bruce for this divine respite.

Love & Light,
Linda

This is beautiful.  If there is one thing that can help me to forget my worries, it is a wild, rising moon.  It makes me want to fly to it... I thoroughly enjoyed this one.

Bruce~

'remember only to forget all worries
in the face of an enormous wild-moon'

Of course you KNOW that I can't resist the magnetic pull of the moon titles~

Love it, my friend~

I've never thought of the moon having that kind of power, to bring you to a place of peace.  I like that idea.

Dear Bruce, having quite a few worries right now and no moon, I find that reading your beautiful poem brings a soothing touch of peace ...

Love,
Margherita
