One of Bones clients
thinks the kid would look cute
with a cigarette butt hanging
from his lips.

He gives one to Bone,
shows the kid how to light-up.

Bones doesn’t like it.

The client shows Bones
how to inhale the smoke.

Bones doesn’t like that either,
it makes him cough.

When the client takes Bones
back to his corner,
he hands Bones a couple
of packs of cigarettes,
just in case Bones
decides to try them again.

Bones ends up getting hooked.

Thanks dear Juli,

Bones never really did trust his clients. It really wasn't a matter of trust. He just made a mistake in this case. Bones hated his clients.

Hi Bobby, thanks for the helping poem, I have always hated tobacco except sharing a few with good company...this is really a poison . I'm sad Bones had got hooked to smoke cause it is an addiction very hard to free with...Thank you for the poem and its generous thoughts.

Yes, smoking is a problem for a kid like Bones. It's a crime to make and sell those things.
