Bones is very, very, hungry.

His belly-button
is rubbing up against
his backbone.

It’s one of his acute
hunger spells,
brought on by no food
for a number of days.

Everyone he now sees
on the street
looks fat to him.

He imagines their bellies
hanging out over
their belt buckles.

The people even smell
like food to him.

Bobby

Hunger is one of the worst states to be in, no doubt, dear Bobby. And it can alter the perception of things. Poor Bones and poor children in the world who still are hungry!

You made me think now of the Hunger site, with a click every day we can contribute, even if only a little.

Love,

Hunger is a serious issue and Bones has brought it to my mind today.

And Bobby?  I can't help but think of "Sweeney Todd".

Thanks dear Alison,

Sweeney Todd was a good man, doing well by doing good.

Thanks for the reminder.

Bobby I think you better let him take a bite out of one of those well fed fat people
that he sees on the street, we can't have him going hungry. smiles.

Thanks LindsayP,

For your concern.  I'm afraid Bones doesn't do that kind of work.

Thanks dear RDB,

I'm certain that you would help Bones with his problems.  You're a nice lady.

Sometimes I feel the same way...

Good write. Bones' never does me wrong.

Thanks dear Ida,

No, hungry is not a good place to be.  I've taken the tour, and didn't enjoy the trip.  Hunger is a frightening place.
