Homemaker—

What an odd
And extraordinarily
Marvelous term

And tell me
Stern
Philosopher

Who made
The world
A place
Worth living in

More
Than this simple girl

"Huh,  I really had to think about this"

Knowing enough about you
I know it wasn't all that difficult . . .

Times have changed
but it was a very long time
before fast food or phone in pizza . . .

Thank you

P

Thank you
But you are wrong

I only notice
what and who
were already beautiful
long before I arrived

Thanks again

John

PS  I hate your moniker

John,

I used to have a lovely bronze piece from when I consulted in Japan, however, I can’t find it.

I do have a Kizakura Sake bottle though.  I haven’t lost that one.

I miss Japan.  I have to think up an excuse to visit the part of my family that lives there.  Perhaps this summer.

I really enjoyed this excellent poem - especially its lightness, and the shadow behind it too.
