Hello

Yes I’ve been
Expecting you
For some time

It’s beautiful weather
Yet of course it’s autumn
Which is my favorite season
As you know

It really
Doesn’t take much
To make me happy here

These days . . .
Simple meals
A friend or two
Not that I
Don’t have
Sadness . . . though
It never seems
To last
For very long—

I’m sorry to hear
After all these years
That your life
Didn’t turned out
All that well

Tonight for me

Moon viewing
With wine
On my balcony
Watching the myriad stars
Glimmer their silent symphonies

And by the way
The answer’s no
