Moments of Perfection

Those moments I felt closest
to her were the times we were
driving to work together,
on the radio listening to
our favorite songs,
at times singing along
and during the nicest of conversations
she would offer me her hand,
and her hand seemed to fit
so nicely into mine
and I could feel all of her
warmth and affection
within those special
moments of perfection.

Don't worry, my darling
is still around, just
far away for now...

Good work James. You've nicely illustrated the old saying of "Absence makes the heart grow fonder". Glad to hear you have those thoughts and feelings still. Take care and Have fun. Steve

James,

Both hands on the steering wheel James, and both eyes on the road.

Nice one James.

She sounds like a lovely lady James, next time she offers you her hand slip a ring on her finger. Good luck my friend.
