~Into A Million Pieces~

Seeming to be small is a persons heart
Until they are told they must be apart
From the one with whom they are in love
The one they thought to be sent from above
*
Yet, when it is broken into a million pieces
The heart fills your whole being when pain releases
For the heart is felt in every minute part
From top of head to soles of feet, you feel pain of heart
*
Many have felt this unique and painful feeling
It is like no other when the thoughts are reeling
The memories of good times flow through mind
Though would be better to think of the hurtful kind
*
If a person could only of the hurtful times think
Then the thoughts of being over would be on the brink
The hurt felt in heart would then start to heal
Then the thoughts of a new love they would begin to feel

I truly understand about being apart. It's not easy. That's for sure. This is beautifully written.
