Mind wanders in the dead of night
in search of spirit lights
to highlight blessings not perceived
as balms and comforters.

And ‘tis this light that now o’er lays
the throb and ache of need
in bold attempts to nullify
the effects of loving you.

Blinded so a woman knows
she shouldn’t but she does
call and cry out mindfully
for more weightier relief.

Spirit lights; the mind delights
but flesh bemoans its fate
when denied the full expression of
“as in heaven so on earth”.

And ‘tis the call that echoes so
from dead of night unto the day
and o’er lays now that spirit light
meant to nullify a need.

Layered so a woman knows
she’s covered head to toe
until released into the ether
of the effects of loving you!

Merging in spirit and flesh is surely the ultimate goal of every heart in love. You speak of this ache with such beauty and passion, dear Helen! Your love has ripple effects without any doubt, and they will represent a permanent gift for all who wander in its stream of energy, comprised you.

Wonderfully written!

Love and hugs.

Honey, Margherita took the words right out of my keyboard (mouth)!

I felt every word and do believe I have an understanding whereof you speak.

Sending love and spirit Light to you, who are so worthy of so much!

Dear Margherita - You read and you understand and that is a gift for all of us.  Thank you!

OLIAS - Thank you.  I'm so glad you "felt" for without "feelings" we are but poor reflections of our magnificence - I think.

Dear Linda - Yes, I am worthy but it took me a long time to realize that.  So you know what happens when you don't realize it?  The Universe (call it God if you will) sends others to show you that you are worthy but, of course, one has to recognize that fact as well.

Most of us don't understand the workings of the unseen and perhaps think to take these "meetings" further but I do know the difference between the bees and the honey.  I'm waiting for the honey - sweet, sweet, sweet, to the taste, the look, and more importantly, the feel!

~ I'm waving my magic wand, and so mote it be!

btw, you are sweeter than the honey that bees make!

May all of your desires be manifested into reality!

Love,
Linda

Oh, dear Linda, I'm smiling now because, you see, they already are manifest in the true reality.  They're just taking a long, long, time to come down to earth - too long!

This was awesome! It went past the dreamy love thingy and told a tale like a well versed story with a moral. Loved it!

OH brother~

This is my favorite from you.  Sometimes when I'm sitting here on my lonesome I will read a particular poem
and I can't help myself.  My eyes get all teary and my heart hurts.

I love everything you write Helen,  mostly because you don't doll up your emotions,
you just put them out there for your readers to feel and get lost in the mystery.

Big Hugs to you honey honey~

Thanks everyone!

And, Bluesy girl, the response is called "empathy" and it is that that will one day change the world.  Until we have "that" there will continue to be wars and the like both globally and in our individual lives.  To cry with me and laugh with me (when I do laugh again) is like you know but perhaps do not know that we're all in this thing called "life" together and that separation is just a myth.
