The wire fence was wicked barbed restraining
One side from the other making an Us and Them,
On the rocks below the toll is slowly draining.
Most barbs have a red rag from either Us or Them.

The wall is amidst a field of rock and bramble
Thorns adorn with the occasional red bloom
Perhaps where ended a grieving scramble
The next layer of rock will become their tomb.

Beyond this waste of a land Us and Them live,
Daily events of a simple passing mark slightly
Taking only what the land can give

Some rags soaked with blood blew away,
A few had soaked a desperate soul
That never made it to a brighter day.

You leave a lot to the imagination, however the stark reality is ever present.

Good and gloomy~

Why is it we so often feel the Us and Them?
