time is a bridge
from today to tomorrow
to the heights
of life's rapture
from the depths
of  pain's sorrow
below flows deep river
with currents enswirling
eddy's encapture
encircling, enwhirling
time bridged by words
and thoughts yet unwritten
spawned in man's souls
by sorrows past bitten

time...bridged by words...

Lovely thought, Tim. Linking the past to the future, and allowing for all the presents the presence of the present has to offer.
