Thank you, Dixie girl.
I almost didn't stop to get the picture,
but - I did.

I cannot find the words to express my admiration for both the picture & the words, to produce either one OR the other is amazing, but both of them......

Stunning,

Cheers

Alison,

This is a good Haiku in the classic manner.  It's also a very pretty picture.

Eat more lumpy oatmeal.

Fine imaging (poetically and photographically!)

I am not particularly fond, however, of very large-sized images...
I believe that might perhaps detract somewhat from the 'power'
of the 'word-painted' imagery?!

applause for this 'penning!'

James

I thank you so much for reading and responding like you do.

__________

John,

The picture was just sheer luck - it was a beautiful evening and the words were inspired by the picture.  So, see, I was kind of out of the loop.

Thank you lots.

Thank you.  There was a scarey story my sisters used to tell me when I was little (well, I thought it was a scarey ghost story - grins).

They would end it by saying, "I am the Window Washer.  I am the Window Washer."

You, my friend, are the "Window Watcher"

Think there is a poem in those words some where .. may try my hand at it.

Bobby,

Thank you - and no, I don't do lumpy oatmeal.  Even for you.

Thanks again,

Linda,

Making you smile is a gift.  I love making you smile as you do the same for me so often.

__________

Bruce,

Thank you so much for the comments ... you are a joy.  And I agree with you.  The picture was way too big.  I had made it smaller but could not change it til tonight.  I am working out of Photo Shop now and need to figure out my sizes for the haiku pictures.

Thank you again.

Your friend,
Ali

Hi Jaime,

I almost forgot.

This haiku says

Sharing its last smile
Sunlight slips behind the hill
until tomorrow.

The picture is a golden, rust sunset with dark shadows of large spruce trees around the edge of the picture.  The sky is black with a small bit of the sunset.

Misty Lilacs

Thank you.  My girlfriend here saw it and started laughing.  Alison, she said, you have a typo AGAIN!  Those who know me look for my typo's.  It's my cross to bear, I think and now I have to redo this darn thing.

Thank you again,
