she was in plasma
posing her mouth like life
that men would die for
and sometimes women too
she said it was all good

and recited her mary
three sixteen
where she so loved her world
she gave away pieces
in cellophane on fridays

down at the gin sinner's inn
and took them back again
on saturday afternoons
when the hearts got sticky
and left prints on her windows

I was just the cleaning man
with a rifle and a broom
and a harley out back
that kept me from knowing her
and that distance was the salvation

that kept me out of her heaven

Dark...Enjoyed this little story from your pin. Maybe you should have given her a ride on that Harley. LOL...Paul

Well, D, the way I see it is if you carried all that and had a Harley too ... she may have noticed, ya know.  A woman always notices the goods, even if we pretend not to be checking them out.  She may just be holding out for a chance to shoot your gun.
