"Hope"

A light is found within us all
Though some refuse to see
So clouded are their minds and hearts
Their souls cannot break free

For them a pain of loss so strong
Has sapped them of their strength
They dwell upon the past so dark
And drift away at length

But precious few possess the will
To take hold of their lives
And break away from Sorrow's curse
Ignoring Sorrow's knives

Those lucky ones will someday find
The light that shines within
And let it guide them on through life
While healing then begins

I've found my light in you, my love
In you I've found my hope
Your passion fills my heart with joy
Your friendship helps me cope

How bright that light has seemed of late
My healing now can start
I've found the strength to choose my fate
In you I've found my heart

This is a sweet and romantic declaration of love, Just what I like, not too much information to spoil the mood.

I know, it has been sometime since I last posted.  I kind of wander around the internet at times, so please forgive me.

I'm glad you all enjoyed this piece, thanks for your comments!
