Let Me Tell You About Dan the Man

Without a doubt
he's good at what he does.
Everybody he knows, knows that's a fact.
Whenever that disco music plays Disco Dan
is there to dance the night away in his bell
bottomed slacks, his shiny polyester Qiano shirts
with pointy collars wide open at the chest,
hoping a fresh disco girl he'll impress.
What the heck, he's always loved those discotheques
where the DJ's played those seventies disco songs;
songs like "You Should be Dancing" and he did,
and "Jive Talkin" and he still does, and "Le Freak"
one of his favorites that still seems to apply and
probably will until the day he dies.
Yes, I do find it ironic, that today, he still
dresses the same as he did in the seventy's, and
even though he knows its 2008 he never hesitates to
step into the past and do another disco dance.
Go disco Dan, go disco Dan, you're Dan the Man...

Cute, good work--however, that should be "that's" and "seventies"

My nephew was in Hawaii while serving in the U. S. Navy. This sounds like him.
