I don't stop anymore to see where I am.
I don't look around for where I should be.
I just keep on going on and on
and I'll end up there eventually.

I've never found it good to over-analyze
certain situations, but just cast care
into the faith of a higher power
that I've always believed is there somewhere.

Fate is a peculiar vehicle,
an oddity of pre-determination-
no matter what you seem to do
in the name of pre-meditation

it's a done deal-

so I don't stop and look anymore
or question what this life is for.

Love your reflections, dear Dixie. I am sure that it is not good when we over-analyze our situations, but I believe we do have a way of influencing positively our lives with our attitude and that's what you do ...

This is also very profound.

big hugs

Nice writing...I've noticed that no matter how hard I try to inject myself into a situation or a relationship, sometimes the doors are closed tight and so I back off, and sometimes the doors peek open a bit at a later time...James

Passing shadows,

This is very well done.

However, I just don't believe in "fate".

Very well written, Dixie, my friend. I often find myself asking, what this life is for.
