Scent of love by Rassouli

* * *

Virginal Venue

* * *
Memory lanes wrap us in their charm,
but they resound of a thousand refrains
and are paved with nostalgic stones.

You and I we shall transit new worlds,
like celestial bodies on unknown routes
we are leaving for our own virginal venue.

Imagine a place where no one has yet been!
No footprints nor any voices interfering.
Just you and me creating ourselves anew…

Wide open space, silent, bare and wanting
like canvases craving the painter’s brush
to be filled with life and to be given a soul.

There we shall sing our matchless tune,
the sound waves will impress our names
to echo within the Braille reading winds.

We then shall melt into rivers of delight
and glide upon crystalline tears of grace,
with devoted hearts and praising hands.

Our seeds of love will create a new Eden.
Within sacred ponds we shall mirror our eyes
and gaze right into the new stars of Universe.

Departure for our virginal venue is now,
meeting point the soul, are you ready to join me?
Then align the rhythm of your breath to mine.

The pioneers’ path is glorious and divine!

Margherita, I just love these lines you wrote.
“Wide open space, silent, bare and wanting
like canvases craving the painter’s brush
to be filled with life and to be given a soul.” A true artist you are. Prasad

Maga Margherita la Senorita Que Bonita ~

Uniquely and gloriously splendiferous! Saved faster than you can say, "Braille reading winds". I LOVE it!

That's my kinda lovin'! Pure, deep, romantic, expansive, adoring, complete, sensuous, joining of mind, body, soul and spirit ~ in an Eden all of our own!

May you know this kind of love forevermore.

There are those who "preach" and those who teach just by being themselves so well that others look at them and think:

"I'll have what she's having!"

You do maintain supreme...serenity!

Lovely!

Margherita,

You write lovely like few can.  I want to go there too - and you took me there with each word that you wrote, with image that you created for my mind to savor.

Lovely work.  Like Karen said, "I'll have what she's having."

Thank you, lovely friend.

how complete can a poem be. i was wondering on the completeness of a poem. how a poem can express a subject and then round itself up. then you my friend shows here the beauty of a self indipendent poem.

At first I chose only a phrase from this wonderful stanza. Then I read it again and realized how good the whole thing was. Nice.
