A little too much like us
yet, way too much like them
Bird with a broken leg
spindle dancing on the fence

Don't fit in with us
Yet, will never fit in with them
powder blown off of her wings
white blur pounding upon the dim

We are driving her out
They won't let her in
Bird with a broken leg
spindle dancing on a whim.

I imagined a saddened sight,
   that of a fowl night
the cold baring loss
of a bird with no flight

.... this had a lot to say in just a few words,
   enjoyed!
