Lumpy oatmeal makes me crazy!

0 posted 2008-05-24 03:04 AM

Brandy burns hot on my tongue.
I simply hold it, savoring the flavor
And think of nothing really.
Nothing in particular anyway.

Just holding my tongue and
enjoying my brandy.

As I watch you watching me.

Dear Alison girl, while you still keep the brandy on your tongue, your "brandy fires" rapidly expand from the reader's mind through the veins and set the whole being on fire ... with that mutual watching. It's the pleasure of savoring the moment and the pleasure of anticipation ...

Yes, it's an incredibly stirring write.

Very very well done! ... is everybody ready to be floored?!

Hugs, dear poetess!

Alison,

This is a well written poem.

Be careful of that brandy, remember, we've got our eyes on you.

Dear Alison this is an intimate and very interesting poem about a moment that everyone has tasted, I appreciated it a lot and I am marvelled by its authenticity and simplicity...

I actually tasted the brandy, I don't like the stuff lol so if you don't mind I'll raise a glass of port to you instead

That was very beautiful.

It is obvious the fire wasn't coming only from the brandy!  Much enjoyed, Alison.

This poem reminds me of an old flame of mine, named, Brandy.
Well anywho, we won't go there.

Thanks for the shot Allison.

That one was 80 proof!

Oh yes, nicely done.  Savor the brandy, and the one who watches.
