We are threads within this web of time,

some thoughts your's,

some few mine

and in others' we've no accounting

for balance weight or cast;

we are seldom helpless in the face of life

though each with choices offered,

in every day grains of life

from beginning to our last,

timeless sands of choice,

in passing through the hourglass

are given voice for us to hear,

if only in their passing

in the wind.

As I've come to expect from your words, this is   a wonderfully wise write.

No weeping walk of solitude
can take away the knowing darn
where swaying threads proclaim the night
and in the dark enlighten sight

You're in fine form here, my friend. I'd be surprised if you weren't, actually. Much enjoyed reading it.
