since I must die, i will live as if life is better than death, and it is! i will live as if the moment is emptying of breath, as if the wind is being sucked from the surface of the earth! but, i will not hurry— no panic, no being frantic, here! i will stop along the road and touch a dandelion, and watch it blush, and yield to the gentle brush of my fingertip—no fanfare here, just a state of not being what it was before. yes, life is better than death, but since i must die, i choose to live! |

I must disagree, my friend, disagree... for if not a pluck of dandy, just who are we, are we? Oh, stop and see a dandy, pluck it if you must, or let it fly, and let it fly somewhere into dusk. But for all of your other thoughts let fly, let fly, let it be fey and know it so but not to smile at a dandy, pluck it so to see the butter'd chin not to pluck a dandy? Means to me a never-win.  Thank you, Gilead...for giving others some inspriation! |

I appreciate your helpful observations. 99.99 percent of the time I capitalize the first person singular, but in this instance I wanted to look at myself in a different way in the scheme of things.
