As Free As We Were Bare

The moon was surrounded by a cast of stars
Hanging on the horizon so close and so far
Our time drew the tide to our untouched shores
We were curious, delicious, complete and pure.

We were chosen, ordained, naturally blessed
Courageous, reckless and at our best
Creating various combinations of one on one
Constantly unwavering, willingly undone.

More brilliant than The Lost Chord
The harmony of the adoring and the adored
We pushed the limits with imaginative dares
We were as free as we were bare.
