Forever In Your Heart

0 posted 2007-08-23 08:17 AM

Before you, I come,
standing, open,
pure, in heart,

dressed only,
with love,
wrapped tightly,

smooth, unending,
covered, love tattoos,
painted across,

soft ivory skin,
intoxicating the senses,
with the scent of vanilla,

I come as an offering,
my naked, bare heart,
layed out before you,

Awaiting your cloak,
of protective love,
to shelter,

To nuture, mend,
this fragile heart,
back to health.

  Beautifully said.

well penned!

and...I hope it really does exist 'out there' somewhere
(in this corporate wilderness that once was America)...that:

"...cloak,
of protective love,
to shelter,

To nurture, mend,
this fragile heart,
back to health."

applause!!

Transparent relationships of idealism, hopes of love untainted ... ... exquisite!

I learned in my earlier relationships though that love is not "hollywood" scenarios but a lot of hard work!

Enjoyed the read, Romantic Heart.  My opinion is that when love is real it comes easily because there is no ego involved.

Nothing heals like LOVE...

Yet, love floats like a dream...

It's the relationship that's tough....LOL.

Loved the poem, ARH.
