One day we will stand sure, and smile again…
We will dance with elation
As we clap our hands and find
our uncontainable laughter…
All the tears that shatter our eyes
Will fade
before they are granted freedom to fall…

One day we will be together again
No longer to miss you;
You will be tangible evidence of God’s love
And graciousness…

To touch you again…A shiver grips and shakes us~
For a moment
We hold our breath with anticipation…

So many things we want to say to you…..

One day…
We will never have to say
good-bye…

I enjoyed this.
I get the feeling this is to a soldier perhaps?
Poignant.

SweetDG~
It is always good to read you~

I love the thought of the 'uncontainable laughter' that will be found again~

Ms. Varner,
This congers up all kinds of emotion. What a hopeful positive write. Nice.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Thanks to all of you for reading!!  I really appreciate your comments

This was written a couple of years ago when a friend's friend was faced with cancer and not doing well...I just started thinking about how one day we would never have to say good-bye to the people we love...I can't wait for that...!

thanks again!
