Dancing Mirage

Nubile maidens sway in sultry salutation.
Their virginal bodies thinly hid by sheer silks,
that mold to curvaceous, female form.
Sea water saturates soft skin

and their eyes beckon.

Flecks of gold glitter in endless depths of blue,
invoking invitation and unspoken desires.
Passion burns from inside searing until fires light;
heated whispers plead

as the pale moon watches

Pious damsels of the day become midnight sirens.
Women’s fragrance mingles with the scent of jasmine.
Fingers flirt as the nocturnal dance
mesmerizes the men who long to touch

who desire to possess.

Yet wisps of night air cannot be owned,
nor can shadows of women who flirt under cosmic lights.
Dreams cannot be captured.
Fantasies cannot be harnessed.

Dawn will dim the display.

Until nothing remains, but memories of a magical mirage.
While women tend children and firesides,
men will paint pictures on the walls of visions
dancing in the moonbeams at midnight.

  Allison... vivid imagery captures the magic
       and stuff dreams are made of.
