When The Wind Has Its Way

Air-dry the bubbles of my bath
Arousing fragrant aftermath
I belong to the wind

Popping a button in reach of a leaf
Riding the seasons a racing relief
Love made under breath of the sky

When the wind has its way, so will I

Moving fingers through my hair
Against the sun in fountain fair
Across my face to bribe a smile

Costumed mustache blown beguile
Paint my cheeks in rays, solar style
I would rather take the chance

When the wind has its way, feelings dance

Moved in unison as breezed romance
Just because I linger calm in relevance
Doesn’t mean your pigeons hold intelligence

For the wind knows the secrets of the night
This would gust a full forever to be right
I belong to the wind

Lovely. Amd the rhymes were so unique. I particularly enjoyed "when the wind has its way, so will I"

A pleasant ‘read’…grand lines and imagery:

I love:

“I belong to the wind”;

“Popping a button in reach of a leaf”;

“Moving fingers through my hair…
…Across my face to bribe a smile”;

“When the wind has its way, feelings dance”;

And, especially fine:

“the wind knows the secrets of the night(!)”;

"When the wind has its way, so will I(!)"

Applause!!

Another wonderful menagerie of words: if that could be possible you always manage to do just that.

Enjoyed!  Maybe when the "will" has it's way we will all fly with the wind.
