 Enchanted Woods ~ Linda L. Dowd ~ In Enchanted Woods I wandered, ~ Marveling at all that I saw. There were fairy rings ~ and elfin things, I was awash in wonder and awe. The skies were neon and glowing, ~ Colors I'd not seen before. Clear springs sparkled like diamonds, Glittering gems lined every shore. Geysers rose high into rainbows. ~ What a glorious sight to see, As a unicorn mantled in roses, Gamboled along-side of me. Bluebells rang out so sweetly, Bluebirds sang happily from trees. And butterflies of heavenly colors, Lined hills, the dales, and leas. In midst of this mystical forest, Dwelled Olde Faery in her wishing well, From whence all magic was woven, In this merry o’ derry, o’dell. Elves, and sprites, and the fairies Were as one with fauna and flora. All lived harmoniously together, In this land of mirth and begorrah. . |

Linda, Quite a journey that makes one ask "what is real". After an eye operation I saw everything in glowing neon colours for a while. The most glorious views you could imagine, though a little concerning for I thought this was not the real colours! But was it... are we in fact limited by our normal snses.... An excellent write, can you get me tickets next time you go there please? Ivor |
