                      Someday

                  before we vanish

               a whisper in the hall

a shadow on a cold night

           fading and shimmering starlight

fall down upon a world enlightened

hatred and heartache a bitter memory

       freedom tempered only by consideration

of all things great and small that once lived

on a speck of dust but rose to glory and found

                             Love

I don't know Ed, but I thought the one time you could post the same poem in another place is if you are posting in CA...or the poetry workshop forum...well with Ed's response gone mine looks "stupid"

Anyway it would be great if the world was enlightened and everyone found Love...in some form or another

Well Ms. Nakd, I edited it for a reason. I was mistaken, so I fixed it; I'm only human you know.

Have a good one.

I'm glad Ed. Now I better go make some money or the next one will have a really depressing ending. Have a great day, Roy

I have held my feelings back for a very long time...since I was one of the very first you criticized and I just want to say you are a very conceited person and if I should get admonished or warned, I will accept it, because after reading you and trying to give you the benefit of a newcomer on here, I feel you add absolutely nothing to this site except hypocrisy.
I don't know what you meant  by "Hall Monitor" or "fighting" over your little poem... when the first response was to Ed and the latter to you giving you a compliment of sorts. You actually have become an annoyance. It makes one wonder which poetry site chased you off or what your purpose was in coming to Piptalk.

If it was to put others down and make others think you are better than them, you have failed not only in your poetry but in "character".

Respectfully
M

p.s. just for the record to anyone reading this...I actually apologized in an email to Roysie about the reaction he was getting from some of my friends on here ( not that he didn't deserve it) but that if he would just settle in he would find it a wonderful place to post.

I received no response whatsoever~~

If the 'author' of this 'write' was referring to Ms. 'nakdthoughts' (negatively)
as "the hall monitor"...said 'author' has likely made a large number of enemies!
