the young man of my skin looking for love in the wrong boxes through windows without conscience the diddler of digits counting breathing rhythms as a scheme to draw the winning hand of lovely and then some afternoon in the windy my youthing was shaken down my trees were distant safety then I was slow enough to gather moss in the wrong boxes again but visible easy to grab with handles a useful tool for the shady side when lovely things were unattended in sleepless and lonely gowns under the cover of other men's awnings _____________ daark |
