A flower’s sown to fate unknown
To world that’s tough and strong
From seed to then a flower grown
In a crowd of many known
Surviving to belong

It finds its roots and holds its ground
As nature plays the day
Seeing changes all around
Friends and many changes found
And things that seem to stay

But then there comes the season spring
The sunshine, rain; the breeze of song
When colours of the flower sing
When beauty to the eye does bring
And life it comes along

The ground it moves and gives some space
While bees they tease delight
Beauty to the air does lace
Time takes on a different pace
And all around is right

The flower then if feels alive
For springtime shows the dream and need
So thankful then to just survive
That new days still do all arrive
That nature dropped the seed

That is we, so much the same
Planted here to play our part
Finding life a complex game
Finding so much we can blame
And crying from the heart

But then as spring it does arrive
We wake to smell the rose
Go from living to alive
Finding pleasure to survive
The timing, no one knows

Feeling free and out of norm
Alive and living happy days
So happy each day to perform
Seeing sunshine through the storm
And changing bedded ways

For life was not made just to live
But find a path and skip each day
To share a passion you can give
Finding more you can forgive
And more you want to play
