I walked across the street the first time
you laughed at my shoes undone
and asked if they were faster
to get in and out of that way

I ignored your braless comments
and pretended not to notice the bare
of unsheathed thighs exposed
almost to heavenly considerations

as you stepped from your dented benz
and began walking toward me too soon
to be a chance meeting of strangers
in the parking lot of a five star

without a valet if you pull around
under the veranda overlooking the ocean
and act like you have been there before
and are just returning again to finish

addressing the actions of proper attire

I love this poem.

It's so visual - I see both of them.  You know laughter builds within the dents of the Benz.

Laugh-presentation is everything. I believe you could pull it off, no matter where you go.

~ I would recognize those words as being yours regardless of where I saw them! ~ and that's a GOOD thang!
