awakened
by sounds
of another hot day
steamy thoughts
rising
from a voice
inside this head
~~smiling~ to myself
as a new day begins...

Thanks everyone. It's been such a scorcher that I can only manage an hour and a half weeding...and I still have so much more to do, but I guess those weeds will have to wait at least 4 or 5 days unless we get a nice rain. Funny how the heat doesn't kill off those weeds.
And the fact that my poison sumac finally doesn't "itch" anymore is a blessing

loved it, and the thought of you waking with a smile. As for weeding? How I understand that as I also can only take a short while before I have to stop and rinse and dry. much too humid here lately. latearrival

This was really nice. Short and poignant. I can only imagine your thoughts upon awakening to another hot steamy day (smile). A nice nap normally helps me.

indeed hot and steamy...yet, my kind of weather, I hate the cold, so I will save this for remembering when summer is asleep...

thank you
