Knowing

Not sure why I
fell in love with you.
Wait...I have a clue.
I'd never met another
as sweet as you.
When you smiled at me
I saw the love in your heart.
While you were kissing me
I never wanted to be apart.
The way you spoke my name
it seemed like a good thing.
How softly you touched my heart,
letting me know you were my sweetheart.
Sharing your smile was dreams coming true,
holding my hand like I could always be with you.
Nothing can keep the two of us apart,
nothing...just as long as you
want to be my sweetheart.
