Taken in your bosom,
Vivified Therein,
Helios, my love,
Warmed both heart and skin.

Give to me this gift,
Of both life and warmth,
Give to me your heart,
Your love- my only wealth.

Through your votive grace,
I've found my only peace,
Vestal, tranquil light-
Never let it cease.

Helios, my love,
Shine your light forsooth,
Left in the cold, I freeze,
For the misdeeds of my youth.

The wretched moon above,
Has usurped my gracious womb,
The frigid world wanes,
To become a living tomb.

Helios, my love,
Why do you forsake me?
Stranded am I now,
In this vicious syzygy.

Helios, my love,
Warmed both heart and skin.

I love it.
