empty request

Lay me 6 feet deep
defuse my electric current
curse my killer
kiss my mother
morose is their mood
moonlight become their healer
hero I hope I'm remembered
rejoice but do not creak
cremate my breathless vehicle
venal world no more
mourn for the possessed
merely an empty request

Oh My Tony,

I felt so depressed,
after reading this,
yes, it made me feel empty...
and it made me feel as if you are speaking,
and no one is listening,
and that nothing is ever going to change.

I am thinking of a soldier?

Wishing you sunshine~

Tony,

This is sad, but it compelled me to read a few times.

Welcome to PiP - I look forward to reading more poetry from you.  Thank you for taking the time to respond to some of my poems.

Again, welcome.
