First secure the border
yes that seems a simple call
     spend billions on some fencing
     and expand the Border Patrol

Increase our port inspections
     examine every ship and crate
     install a perfect missile defense
to shield us from such fate.

The cost might be an issue
not in dollars but in sense
for to have our very own Maginot
     does little to convince

That we’ll solve these nagging problems
     while ignoring the root cause
that people will seek a better life
even if they must break laws.

Still I guess we must start somewhere
     there are terrorists about
I just hope we’ll show some prudence
     as we exercise our clout.

Interesting...overall not a bad idea to secure the border, as I believe in legal immigration and knowing who comes into our Country, but if someone carefully studied how those that participated in 9/11 gained entry to this country, they would probably find out that our leadership, if you can call it that, allows entry on student visa's and other methods, enabling those with terrorist intent to enter our Country openly without sneaking over the border...James
