So many things I wanted to say So many things I felt I could do So many things left undone So many things, will never be because of you I am still and always will be Your... Baby Girl Daddy, you taught me about life, about the world but mostly Daddy you Taught me to be Myself Your way of life Always seemed right Dont ask the world though They would put up a fight Live Long Ride Free Thats how you always wanted to be The wind in your hair The sun in your face It was not a fashion statement It was a way of life A Biker is what your were Biker, nothing less, but definitely More Daddy, I cried the day you died I cry even still today. I really do not feel as though I am a writer or a poet. I tend to only write when things are bad or I loose someone really close to me. I find that when I am in the MODE it tends to just come out, but only when I am in front of a keyboard...not pen and paper...is that odd or are there others like me Also, THANKS for all the welcomes and the comments on my Dads poem.. |
