Winter Comes Tumbleweeds waltz across highways to crowd like disappointed ugly sisters against barb-wire. Brown and slick sick-lime leaves gavotte through alleys to pile up in corners like eager lovers. Dust devils twirl in solemn rounds, then fade and disappear like yesterday’s boutonniere. Winter comes to Texas, and an ever-rising wind plays the tune. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |

M'lady, it is no mean feat to make a tumbleweed dance, even with a poet's Gypsy fiddle tucked under your chin! Ya make me see them gad about like teddy bears at a picnic... You see?
