Thankful

Today I am thinking of all those friends
I have met from words of poetry.
How I miss those who have departed
and those who have moved on.

It has been a long road
for some of us to bounce back
from that which has disappointed us
but contributed to finding in words
a substitute pathway towards living again.

I am thankful for those of you
who in many ways gave me the support
that has allowed me to be here "still",
having gained from my losses,
finding a new me that continues
to change day to day, striving
for that feeling of contentment.

M

p.s. if I had a cycle I would be taking that ride to Anywhere, USA

Ms. M. expressed so grandly and effectively...exactly how I feel as well!
I'm not sure that I would still 'be here' (or reasonably sentient) at all if it
were not for 'poetry' and especially for the folks I have met while traversing
these fine blue sands along the cyber-sea of "P.I.P.-world!"

Thank you so much for this post!

M, you wrote a thank you for me, as well.
May each day bring you peaceful moments of sanctuary.
(though I suspect we each have steep mountains yet to climb before reaching our vale of serenity)

M, I am thankful of friends as yourself that make this site enjoyable and consistatly full. The words here fill many lives, giving hopes and inspiration to so many. A place where we can all confide and get away from the real world out there, which can be so cruel and demanding. It is amazing how rejuvinated one feels after expression, such a release. I visit not so often, but each time I do, I feel part of an extended family who cares.
Thank you for your thank you, enjoyed the read my friend, here is to the future of this wonderful site.
