There are these strands of blue
that weave shades of midnight through
the soul, with threads carefully placed

stitched just so
as if to entwine the azure blue of sky,
binding it to the deeper cobalt darkness

where shadows are cast
against the light of day
as two hues bump into each other

accidentally, on purpose
so that our colors can blend

onto the canvas of day.

You developed the theme very captivatingly, dear Donna.

Minus minus equals plus, I would say.

Divinely creative write. Simply stated, yet metaphorically stunning!

Donna, your pen spills angel blue ink!

Such golden threads you have spun through shades of blue, to blend the seas and heaven of heart.

I wanted to swirl my fingers in your wordpaint.   ~ KL
