The Yet Unknown

I am not sure
which part of me
pools the hardest...

There's the collective confusion
that lists me to the left
catching me off balance
until thoughts can be bent
and tied into knots,
keeping me kept from what should be.

Then there's the "something about you"
that centers me,  if only for that moment
where mood becomes present
and the blue  shades me softer
than an indigo night.

Strength is a figment,
curve kissed by whispers from lips,
despite the sorrowed lines unmasked,
waiting for the messages to be skin traced
and gift warmed by the yet unknown.

It's a silent reign of thoughts
pooling me here and there
and sometimes...
nowhere.
