Speaking Chinese

A Cargo Ship
arrived in Port
from far away places.
With crane and bridle
we unloaded the connexes.
One seemed light
so I opened the door
to see what was within.
Inside was a Chinese beauty
wearing a red dress and
a big beautiful grin.
She placed her sunglasses on
to shade the bright Hawaiian sun
and then she poured two glasses
of wine and offered me one.
"Do you have a girlfriend?"
she inquired innocently.
I understood not her words,
she was speaking Chinese.

But you thoroughly enjoyed the moment, dear James. Red dresses and wine are great temptations!

Nicely done!

Thank you Margherita, Joe, Earth Angel and Kalle for the nice responses...
Kalle that seems a little negative...perhaps she could have said "If all Americans are as nice as you, I'm glad I came."...James

Well, James, I would say that she definitely said exactly what you wanted her to say - but you can keep it a secret.

Very clever, James.  Non-verbals give it away every time!   Enjoyed!
