The Truth Of The Matter

I have heard her sarcasm before
Anytime she didn’t get her way
It was clear to hear her anger
When I finally talked to her today

Then she turns it around saying
I am the one who is angry
When the truth of the matter is that
Her words causes pain inside me

Why must I spend all my days off
Always over there, at her place
When there are things for me to do
Right here where I stay

Sometimes I wish I could move
A thousand miles away
Only, what good would that do
Her words would follow me each day

It's a shame, but some people take advantage of others who are gentle, kind, and giving ~ like yourself!

It is good to express yourself through the written word ~ but at times it is in one's best interest to verbalize one's feelings to those who give them grief.

Her words will follow you because you have a huge giving heart. Learning to walk away from 'users' takes a lifetime for us gentle empathetic folks.

You could have reasons to go somewhere else...for example a desire to be around more positive people...James
