Please take this emptiness
this invasion of soul
and these shadows

that dance upon the walls
where moonlight lies

the edge of night

denies me rest.
The screams seem to be
like a banshees wail

falling upon deaf ears
as icy fingertips dig in
gripping deeply

clinging to heart

and the shiver,  shakes me

       hard

is this harsh reality

now come the cold
     of winters chill.

"In yearning for nothing, you will be free to enjoy what you do, free to see the patterns, free to hear the music in all things."

Well structured.
Well written.
Nothing negative about it in my mind.
