Rearranging Life

Been rearranging much of life,
my mornings, noons and nights.
Today I worked on screws and cams
and directions' mental fights.

A blister here, another there,
a bruise from hammer's blow.
Been rearranging much of life
to make a better go.

One room down, now organized,
a break from weeding's woes.
Since shortly after pulling some,
the sumac spread just so.

An itching here, an itching there
can't stop me from my goal.
But summertime can make it hard
when it seems to take control.

My shelves are put together
and I'm whistling a happy tune
for I did it all with..out help
and finished it by noon.

Though tired from the lifting of
the units in their place.
There they are admired by
the smile upon this face.

I can't think of many thngs that make one
smile and feel really good about where they
are and what they are doing.  ...  BUT, this
is definitely one of them that I can.

I suppose it would have been nice to have some company/help but still there is a joy in completing things all on your own, isn't there?

you know if I would have been closer, I'd have been right there with you...I love to do fixing and cleaning and yard stuff!

Sumac doesn't like me either, my friend...enjoyed the way you put all your work together in this....and the smile upon your face at the end...

Oh, I can sure relate to this Maureen. There's nothing like the satisfaction of getting some of those things done ... and knowing with a smile ... that you did it yourself. Satisfaction indeed! Much enjoyed.

Best wishes,
/Kit
