~A Place Of Serenity~
~*~
Now close the windows and hush all the fields
For inside will find quiet and peace
Though out there the wind fiercely blows
Always seeking to find some release
~
Yet, we can meditate within ourselves
To escape from the winds of life
Leaving the forces blowing outside
Taking with them trials, toil, and strife
~
The quietness and serenity of this place
Calms me within to my inner core
Giving to me peace and tranquility
Ever making me long for more
~*~

Garysgirl,

I like the idea of "meditate within ourselves".  That's a great concept that works anywhere, city or country.

(((Ethel))) I was so happy to see you back (thank you for your reply to my latest too).

Your beautiful poem transmits deep serenity. I love that place too ... we should indeed meditate regularly to reestablish our balance.
Welcome back! Stay!!
Love and hugs.
